Instant Karma

Mel and the Grand Funk crew will be glad to know that I spent th' first half of today in the emergency room for a pinched sciatic nerve and the second half playing a show with said nerve driving nails through my left leg and lower back. Long nails.

Now it's 3:45 AM and I've downed more Percosets than is probably wise.

Brother, I can sympathize with the sciatica. I suffered for years, and when it got so bad that I literally could not walk, my doc would prescribe a sweet little steroid based concoction called the Medrol dose pack. Worked like a charm. Ask your sawbones.

I was eventually cured whilst driving a big-ass U-haul loaded to the gunnels with my entire stock of portable goods from Las Vegas to Pittsburgh. The springs were totally compressed. There was a particularly crappy stretch of road in Oklahoma that tossed me around in the cab like a rag doll. This rough treatment worked like highway chiropractic, and the pain went away and has never returned.

But if Oklahoma is not on your itinerary, the steroids will fix ya' right up.

Oooooh...th' Medrol dose pack.

Wonder if Jose on th' corner of South St. and Lincoln can hook me up. I'll drive there on the dirt roads.

That's wild, man. Bodies are crazy.

Thanks for the advice, Roxtar. I've got the same problem, Bobby. Doc gave me vicodin and valium. I taught a few classes doped up and only realized later that the students were laughing.

I'm calling the doc now for the Medrol Dose Pack... It Cures What Ails Ye.
